Morepork Bach
Kaiuma Bay, Marlborough Sounds

Built in the Marlborough Sounds by builder Peter Sykes, a local resident in Kaiuma Bay, this single storey bach was built for permanent accommodation. Peter has been an advocate for Potius™ panels for 8 years, since he saw the first Potius bach being built in only one day. Peter saw the flooring panels, already insulated, the walls already lined with a rigid air barrier also insulated and the roof panels with the same rigid air barrier and insulation be installed and weather tight by 7pm the same day they arrived.

When the clients wanted to build a new permanent home accommodation, they chose the fast and well insulated panel system from Potius™ and were so impressed with the end result, built a further accommodation unit on an adjacent site a few years later.
